Who I am

I'm Thejan Vithanage, a Sri Lankan DevOps and Cloud Engineer specialising in infrastructure management, platform reliability, and automation.

Currently working as System Administrator at Ashadi Jewellers, leading end-to-end IT infrastructure across retail and production branches. Previously a Cloud IOMC Analyst at HCLTech, ensuring operational stability for Unilever's critical systems.

I hold industry certifications in Kubernetes, Red Hat, AWS, and Azure — and I'm pursuing a BEng Software Engineering at the University of Westminster.

Linux-based batch job monitoring system using Shell scripting. Polls job status every 60 seconds, detects failures by exit code analysis, and auto-retries up to 3 times with pre-retry cleanup. Logs all runs and failure rates to a SQLite incident database.
